We would love to have you come and celebrate our new book with us! Both Simone and myself are parents to young kids and understand just how hard those final hours of the day can be. It can feel like a marathon at times, just trying to make it through to dinner, bath and bed! Throw allergies into the mix and meals can become even more difficult.

This is why we wrote Allergy Free Afternoon Tea.

It is filled with professional advice, tools and delicious allergy friendly recipes to help turn your afternoons from chaos to a time for delicious fun!

In it you will find information :

  • to help manage food aversions and anxiety
  • the golden rule around timing meals for kids
  • what to do when out and about
  • how to introduce new foods
  • the importance of including all our senses when eating and how to do this
  • a variety of delicious and healthy allergy friendly recipes to help beat the hangries

Ticket price includes:

  • Printed and PDF version of Allergy Free Afternoon Tea (PDF delivered via email after event)

About Ruth Meaney

Ruth is co-author of Allergy Free Afternoon Tea and author of the blog Pea Fritters. She is a mother to two gorgeous kids who both have allergies and intolerances. Learning to cook safe food for her family has been a steep learning curve but now Ruth loves the challenge of inventing and modifying recipes to feed her family. In 2016, Ruth hosted a fundraising High Tea For Hamlin which was totally free from the top 8 allergens. The event raised over $1500 for Hamlin Fistula Hospital. Another High Tea is planned for later in 2017. When not in the kitchen cooking up a storm, you can find Ruth playing with her kids in the beautiful Blue Mountains. Her two biggest wishes are to swim with whale sharks and to have a full night's sleep!
